We believe professional media should be accessible to everyone. That's why TV Santa Barbara underwrites a large part of every 805 Focus production — making what would cost significantly more elsewhere available to the organizations doing the most important work in our community.
What 805 Focus is
805 Focus is TV Santa Barbara's premier nonprofit showcase — a professionally produced broadcast show dedicated entirely to the organizations shaping life in Santa Barbara. Each year, just 30 nonprofits are selected to tell their story on camera, on air, and across every platform TVSB reaches.
This is not a directory listing or a sponsored mention. It's a full production — your organization, your mission, your people, on broadcast television.
What your episode includes
A full 805 Focus production brings together a multi-camera studio setup, a professional production team, and thoughtful editing — the same quality you'd expect from any broadcast television program. Your episode airs across Channel 17 and 71, streams across all of TVSB's digital platforms, and is shared across our social media channels, reaching Santa Barbara audiences wherever they watch.
Each selected organization receives a finished 20-minute evergreen video — ready to use on your website, in newsletters, donor presentations, grant applications, and social media. A permanent, professional record of your mission at its best.
What it costs
TV Santa Barbara underwrites half the cost of every 805 Focus production. Your investment is $375.
Access is limited — by design
805 Focus accepts just 30 organizations per year through a competitive application process. Qualifying nonprofits must serve Santa Barbara County and are eligible to apply once every two years.
We keep the program small intentionally. Thirty slots means every episode gets the attention it deserves, every organization gets a production team fully invested in their story, and every show that airs on 805 Focus carries the weight of something earned — not purchased.
