TVSB Attends Ribbon Cutting for Fiesta 2025

Last Wednesday, July 30th, TV Santa Barbara had the honor of attending the official ribbon cutting ceremony for Old Spanish Days Fiesta 2025. From the front row, we witnessed the festive kickoff just moments after Santa Barbara Mayor Randy Rowse cut the ceremonial ribbon.

The event began with the exciting introductions of the 2025 Spirit of Fiesta and Junior Spirit, setting the stage for the very first dance performance of this year’s celebration. The energy, tradition, and community spirit were on full display, marking a vibrant start to this cherished Santa Barbara tradition.

Colorful costumes, the sensation of warmth signaling the arrival of a summer that feels endless, and the aroma of delicious Mexican food filling the air at the Mercado made the start of the 2025 Fiesta a truly five-senses experience. Viva la Fiesta! PC: Celia Bueno
